Best Pizza In Singapore
The hunt for the best pizza in Singapore ends right here. And rest assured, we’re not talking about Pizza Hut here.
Where can you find the best steak in Singapore? Well, some people love it, some people don’t.
While Pizza Hut may be one of the pioneers of mass commercial pizza here in Singapore, just like Dominos, Sarpinos, Oishi, Canadian 2-4-1 etc, it wouldn’t be a surprise that really good ones don’t come from these.
No doubt some of them are fairly decent, many just don’t make the cut when it comes to serving up pizza that leaves a really lasting impression.
Of course, Pizza Hut did try to revamp their look and became creative with their offerings after what many would agree would be a rapid decline in standards, it still can’t compare with some of the less common eateries that offer way better food.
Best Pizza In Singapore
In no particular order, here’s a list of pizzeria we believe serve some of the best pizza in Singapore:
1. Pepperoni Pizzeria
Tossing up one of the best thin crust pizzas here, Pepperoni Pizzeria can be found in Frankel Avenue, Binjai Park and Greenwood Avenue.
Because of its popularity, it’s highly recommended that you call them to make a reservation before you head down.
The interesting thing is, you can order a split-pizza, i.e. half a particular flavor and the other half something else.
And sizing starts from medium (9 inches) to large (12 inches) and finally the crazy family (21 inches).
Depending on the size of your group (or how hungry you are!), you can order the size that’s appropriate for you.
2. L’Operetta
Situated in Boat Quay, L’Operetta boasts not only a magnificent restaurant design, but supposedly also the Vera Pizza Napoletana certification (or at least they’re trying to)
Vastly different from most pizzas that Singaporeans are used to, i.e. thin and crispy, L’Operetta’s pizzas are of the thicker, more bread-like class wood-fire pizzas. So it really depends on your palette.
And interestingly, it’s run by Japanese chefs too. Definitely something to explore.
3. Mozza
Located in Marina Bay Sands Singapore, Mozza also serves great pizza although it’s not completely the neopolitan style that many ‘true pizza’ enthusiasts would die for.
They do have a weird ordering rule though; that you have to order all at once – anything added on will shift your entire order to the back of the queue. So my advice is, plan well, order and don’t regret! lol
So there you have it, some of the “best pizza in Singapore” to let you begin your ‘hunt’ and satisfy your cravings.
Have fun!
